Immerse yourself in a deeply nurturing fusion of restorative yoga postures, somatic movement, gentle breathwork, Himalayan kriya, and meditation. This guided journey is designed to rebalance your nervous system, release tension in your body, and help you to learn simple techniques to empower your own practice and self care so that you radiate your best self to the world everyday.

Susan Alden taught her first yoga class to fellow paratroopers in the 82nd Airborne Division over 25 years ago.  In 2003, after leaving the military, she opened a yoga studio and holistic wellness center in North Carolina and has been teaching yoga, leading retreats, and supporting people on their wellness journeys ever since.  Susan has an extensive background teaching trauma-informed yoga and meditation as a therapeutic intervention specifically with combat veterans and individuals impacted by sexual trauma.  While she has been trained by many masters in yoga, the one who inspires her practice and teaching most profoundly is Anand Mehotra of the Himalayan Yoga Vedantic tradition. Susan is dedicated to respectfully sharing the wisdom entrusted to her in a way that empowers you to transform, evolve, and bring your best self to the world.
